We booked time for the dogs at the vet/kennel to head out to western Arizona to see about the SeaDoo Spark.  As most things in life there has to be wrench thrown into the system. The night before Hoodlum was acting as if something was wrong, he didn’t seem sick yet something just wasn’t right.  We poked and prodded but he was keeping the ailment to himself.  As the man is heading back into town after an inspection I took the dogs to see their friends at Star Valley Vet for a two night stay. As we are getting out of the Jeep Hoodlum recognizes one of his friends and runs to see her.  He yelps.  Our Hoodlum had gotten himself a case of whiplash the day before while in the yard and doing his bull stance (shaking of his head, Mohawk up) at the teeny tiny dogs that live kitty corner to us.  Ahhhhh life; however extremely relieved it was nothing serious.

We are on the road and headed for Lake Havasu and we pull into what must have been the happening hotel in the late 80’s.  Interesting note the hotel’s prime and my prime are in sync.  We sleep on a mattress that also had its prime in the 80’s and head out to see the SeaDoo Spark that Jeff has been investigating.  They are yellow and we all know color is the most important thing about a toy! But seriously who could be sad with yellow.  The SeaDoo Spark HO model also has the sport mode which means I have to remember to push a button to go faster.  Simple SeaDoo Spark, I like that.  We chat we buy we learn we buy more and we walk away with two SeaDoo Spark skis.  Loaded up with the Jeep we head to the lake because you kind of have to right?

SeaDoo Spark
The Old GP900s were nice, not as nice as the SeaDoo Spark.

It has been a few years since we owned JetSkis / WaveRunners and the SeaDoo Spark reminds me of the fun we had. Here is a picture of our prior GP900’s.

Yep pretty much like riding a bike.  And you know the one thing that doesn’t change from one boat launch to another? The slime is always slippery right there where you need to do stuff.  We launch them, I slip around waiting for Jeff and then each of us is up on a SeaDoo Spark.  We zoom around on the lake and it is a Tuesday so not too much traffic.  We see dogs out taking their owner’s for a ride on paddle boards and more people than I would have thought hanging out on the beaches.  We played for about an hour and a half and then it was time for each of us to load our SeaDoo’s and get back on the road and head for home.  Now Jeff has been doing a bit of exercise and a bit of not eating food he wants and he needed a new swimsuit to go for a ride on his SeaDoo Spark.  He looks smashing in his new suit by the way.  The suit is black and as he jumped off his SeaDoo Spark he noticed that his suit had bled onto his seat.  Yep not sure that is going to come out.  I have one more thing to try but it looks like Jeff gets a snazzy new seat for his SeaDoo Spark which in the end will make it really easy to identify which one is my SeaDoo Spark.

I give two paws up for the SeaDoo Spark.  We all need something fun to enjoy with our partner in crime when the heat starts to rise.

And remember Jeep. Ball. Repeat.

Shana with the old GPP900s. Always standing around. She should ride more and stand around less? BTW, She looks just as good as then.
